Performance Shell Dog Jacket – functional and lightweight fleece-lined coat

When it’s windy, rainy and damp, but your dog still wants to move, this jacket steps in. Lightweight, warm and functional – not a bulky “sleeping bag” that locks the dog’s body.

Functional outer layer, warm core

The jacket combines a durable outer fabric with a soft, warm fleece lining inside.
The result:

• protects against wind and light rain / drizzle

• the inner fleece keeps warmth around the back, chest and lower back area

• the jacket is lightweight, so the dog can move and work naturally

The fleece also helps wick moisture away from the body, so the dog doesn’t get unnecessarily “steamy” inside – something active and sport dogs really appreciate.

Outer layer: AeroShell™
Lightweight technical fabric with windproof and water-repellent finish. Soft to the touch, it doesn’t stiffen in the cold, doesn’t rustle and easily follows the dog’s body. Inspired by high-performance outdoor fabrics.

Inner layer: Fleece with water-repellent treatment
Soft and warm fleece that doesn’t soak up water, while still insulating well and staying breathable.

Thoughtful cut for active dogs

The cut of the jacket is designed to:

• support a natural range of motion in shoulders and chest

• cover the back and lumbar area – zones sensitive to drafts and cold

• fit well on slimmer and athletic body types

The jacket is suitable for dogs that carry their tail in a neutral, downward position.
It fits well for example:

• Border Collie

• Australian Shepherd

• Doberman

• Belgian Shepherd (Malinois, Tervuren, etc.)

• other medium and larger active breeds of similar build

It is not recommended for breeds with a permanently high, curled tail (northern and spitz-type breeds), where the tail could bump into the back hem of the jacket.
