It is made of Cordura, which is a dense nylon fabric with a smooth finish that is water-repellent, lightweight and flexible. The material is resistant to dirt, easy to care for. The name comes from the English "cord", which means "cord", "rope". In appearance, the structure resembles the interweaving of thick ropes.

The textile is produced according to a patented technology by weaving from polyamide threads cut and braided in a special way. In the final stage, the textiles are subjected to multi-stage impregnation to obtain water repellency.

The classic look of Cordura is made of nylon (polyamide fiber) from Dupont, characterized by increased strength. Some manufacturers add up to 10% cotton to the composition. The surface of the mixed Cordura types acquires a slight hairiness and increases wear resistance.

The production technology gave the material 4x higher strength than other polyamide fabrics. The fabric is resistant to UV radiation, chemicals, non-flammable. The high strength of Cordura does not reduce its elasticity. Fabric products hold their shape well.
