🔸 Collar Types – What’s the Difference?

Martingale Collar
Also known as a "limited-slip" collar, this style was originally designed for sighthounds, whose heads are often narrower than their necks.
It does not tighten under tension like a choke or slip collar. Instead, it consists of two loops: one main loop around the dog’s neck, and a smaller control loop that gently closes the collar to prevent slipping out – but without causing pressure or choking.

Once adjusted to fit your dog's neck, it sits in place and does not require further adjustment. It offers gentle control while maintaining comfort, making it perfect for everyday use, training, or showing.

Semi-Slip Collar (Half-Check)
This collar also slips over the head and is adjusted to fit the dog’s neck. However, when the dog pulls, the collar tightens slightly, providing more control and preventing escape.
It’s an ideal choice for dogs that are more active or stronger pullers.
